“We spent a week in one of the cottages. We’ve done a lot of traveling and stayed in a lot of places both delightful and not so much. Our stay at Betley Farm ranks among the top one percent of our experiences. We give it an enthusiastic five stars. The bed was as comfortable as our very carefully selected mattress at home. The full English breakfast each morning was charming and sumptuous. The warmth and care we experienced from Jayne Speed and her family members was an especially meaningful plus. The village of Betley itself is wonderfully rural but be advised that the nearest grocery store is about 12 miles away. Bus service is good, but a car is probably better. Cheshire is full of history and beauty, all of which Jayne will happily direct you to.”
“My husband John and I brought my parents to meet his mother (he married a yank) and we booked them a room at Betley Court Farm, they could not have been more pleased. The room was lovely and the English breakfasts were excellent. Above all else, the hostess and her family could not have been more helpful and friendly. The countryside in which it resides is beautiful, right out of a Jane Austin book. We highly recommend a stay here.”
