Round Bales Enjoy the rural tranquility. Take a spin to the Potteries and even have a go at throwing a pot or painting a flower ornament. Mow Cop castle is a folly, but has magnificent views.
Walk leisurely along the canal tow paths or hire a barge for a day on the Cheshire Ring network of canals. Amazing variety of mazes from historic gardens to farmers maize crops. Surprising fun for all ages. If your love the sport you are a short distance from many of the big clubs like Man United.
Visit historic Chester with Roman walls and an amphitheatre and "Rows" of shops. Chester Zoo. Grrrh! Relax and unwind after a long walk in this beautiful countryside.
Visit some of the many gardens and garden centres. The RHS has a show every year at Tatton. Horses for courses. Trekking facilities or on farm stabling - just ask.
Walking, one of the easiest pastimes. Peaks and Plains. Visit the many historic properties like Tatton and its associated Park with all year round events.
